Privacy Policy for Fluido

Effective 9 October 2026

In short: Fluido doesn’t collect any of your data. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Everything you log stays on your iPhone. If you allow it, it’s also shared with Apple Health, which you control.

Who we are

Fluido is made by Ioannis Pinakoulakis (“we”, “us”). If you have questions about this policy, email us at info@techpals.eu.

What Fluido stores, and where

Fluido stores the following only on your device, in the app’s own storage:

  • The drinks you log: type, amount, size and time
  • Your daily goal, unit preference and reminder settings
  • Daily totals, streaks and the awards you’ve earned

During setup you enter your weight and activity level so Fluido can suggest a daily goal. Fluido only saves the goal it calculates, not your weight.

Fluido’s widgets and the “Log a drink” shortcut read and write the same on-device data. None of it is ever sent to us or to anyone else. Fluido makes no network connections.

Apple Health

Connecting Apple Health is optional, and Fluido works fully without it. If you allow it:

  • Fluido writes each drink to Apple Health as Water, so your other health apps see the same totals.
  • Fluido reads Water, Sleep and Workouts. Sleep sets your waking hours so reminders don’t arrive at night. A workout adds one extra reminder afterwards.

Health data is read and used on your device only. We never receive it. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties. You can change or remove Fluido’s access at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps → Fluido.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications, scheduled by Fluido on your device. No push service or server is involved. You can turn them off in Fluido or in iOS Settings.

What we don’t do

  • No account or sign-up
  • No analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs
  • No advertising identifier and no tracking across apps or websites
  • No selling or sharing of data

Backups and crash reports

Like most apps, Fluido’s on-device data is included in your iPhone’s iCloud or computer backups if you have them turned on. Apple handles those backups under its own privacy policy, and we can’t access them.

If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These don’t include your logged drinks or Health data. You can turn this off at any time in the same place.

Your rights

We don’t hold any personal data about you, so we have nothing to access, correct, export or delete on our side. You stay in control on your device:

  • Edit or delete any logged drink in the app.
  • Delete the app to remove all of its data from your iPhone.
  • Manage or delete water samples Fluido wrote in the Health app.

If you’re in the EU, EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Children

Fluido isn’t directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If Fluido ever starts collecting data, for example through a new feature, we’ll update this page before that version is released and change the effective date above. If a change is significant, we’ll also mention it in the app’s release notes.
